What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data we collect through platorix.com and when you contact us about our services. Personal data we process on behalf of clients during an engagement, such as customer records in a support desk or alerts in a fraud queue, is governed by the contract and data processing agreement with that client, not by this policy. In those cases the client is the controller and we act as a processor on their instructions.
Data we collect
When you contact us
If you email us or ask us to get in touch, we collect what you send: typically your name, email address, company, role and the content of your message.
When you subscribe to updates
If you subscribe to our occasional notes, we collect your email address and the date you subscribed. Every message includes an unsubscribe link.
Technical data
Our hosting provider records standard server logs for security and reliability, which include the IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp. We do not run analytics scripts, advertising pixels or third-party tracking on this site. Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own domain, so visiting the site does not send your data to a font or script provider.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies and does not use local storage for tracking. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Why we use your data and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and discuss services: our legitimate interest in responding to you, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To send updates you subscribed to: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
- To keep the site secure and available: our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
- To meet legal obligations: where a law, regulator or court requires us to keep or disclose data.
Who we share data with
We share data only with providers who help us run the site and communicate with you, such as our hosting and email providers, under contracts that limit what they may do with it. We may also share data with professional advisers, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
We are based in Kosovo. Our providers may store data in the European Union or other countries. Where data leaves the country in which it was collected, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual clauses approved under the applicable law.
How long we keep data
- Enquiries: for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and then for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless an engagement follows.
- Subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: for as long as needed for security monitoring, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
Under the Law on Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Kosovo (Law No. 06/L-082) and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Information and Privacy Agency of Kosovo or, if you are in the European Union, to your local supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over encrypted connections. Access to enquiry and subscription data is limited to the people who need it. Our broader security practices are described on our security page.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18.
